TWO SIGHTINGS

Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

1st April 2010

Two Orbwatch members went to a location very close to the Falls in Niagara, Ontario, on Thursday night, 1st April 2010. We had been reading reports made by people who have been seeing objects/lights near the Falls and we were interested to see what these might be. We had two sightings, twenty minutes apart, of fast moving lights that did not conform to aircraft configurations or flight characteristics/speeds. Aircraft were also active in the vicinity and they looked nothing like the white balls witnessed.

From Audio Recording

Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

1st April 2010

(The first account was recorded a few moments after the first event took place.)

It is approximately 9.30 at night on April 1st, 2010 and this is no April Fool's joke. We are standing just outside Mount Carmel next to the park that leads down to the Bird Sanctuary.

From the North, going towards the South, there were three lights in the formation of an equilateral triangle with a single light in the lead. That triangle formation then broke up and two of the lights went on a different tangent from the first one so that the triangle formation was lost.

There was then a movement where the first two lights headed to the west side of the other light. The three newly configured lights then continued in a way similar to how a satellite would move and then fade out.

This is what the three lights did as they got close to the constellation Orion (from our perspective - ed.) They did not look as if they were beyond the atmosphere but they were certainly not aircraft that we could recognise.

These three lights, although briefly in triangular formation, did not seem to be part of one craft. The three lights were moving at a consistent speed - a very high speed - there was no noise.

As the triple formation passed by, the distance between the lights would be approximately the diameter of a dime, or slightly more, held at arm's length. Regarding the quality of the light, they looked like pearls.

(The second account was recorded just a few moments after the fly-over that occurred at 21.51.06 h.)

A second single light that looked exactly the same as the other three lights followed the same path as the first event, moving from the North to the South. It appeared to be moving at the same speed and in the same direction as the previous event.

In both cases, the unidentified flying objects seemed to be travelling at an elevation of approximately 50 degrees vertically from grade elevation.

There is a young man who lives in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and he has been recording these types of objects for some while. He did record events on the night of the 1st April 2010.
